Tour description

Join our bike tours and get a grip of London in 4 hours. If you´re not a big fan of tired feet, traffic jams and the crowded tubes then this is the perfect tour for you. Our journey starts at our meeting point next to Kensington gardens. We cruise through the beautiful Royal parks on our way to see some of the most famous places and buildings in the world. Enjoy the amazing Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey where the coronations and Royal weddings take place. Listen to some good old torture and execution stories at Houses of Parliament, (or have a selfie at Londos landmark number one, Big Ben). Cycle along the Thames to the iconic Tower Bridge, let your imagination blow you away at the mysterious Tower of London. Go for a stroll at Sir Chrostopher Wrens masterpiece, 365 feet above ground, the London silhouette St Pauls Cathedral. On this trip we will give you some facts, some myths, some gossip and share some of our personal hidden gems of this faboulus City. See you!

We gather up at our meeting point where we will give you a short briefing on how to cycle on our 16 gear hybrid bikes, provide you with a helmet, direction to the nearest toilet and where to get a snack and a bottle of water if you need before we take off. The tour starts with a ride through Kensington Gardens to see where Queen Victoria was born and where Lady Diana lived. A little bit further we make a stop to have a glance at one of Londons most notiorious venues, Royal Albert Hall, feel free to tune up in an improvised "last night of the proms" one of all the great annual shows in this classic arena. We carry on through the beautiful Hyde Park to make a stop at Duke of Wellington Place and get to know a little bit more about the man who put an end to 20 years of war at the battle of Waterloo against Napoleon 1815, so The duke of Wellington is not just a very common name for an English pub, it´s probably the most honoured leader of the English army ever. We go downhill along Green park to see Buckingham Palace, share some anecdotes about the official recidence of the Royal family before a stop a one of the most famous squares in the world, Trafalgar square. Trafalgar? Why is it called "Trafalgar", and what on earth happened to all the doves that once lived there? Relax, we have that answer, challenge us with questions about Lord Nelson, Arsenal FC or the song London Calling by the Clash, it´s all included, we enjoy a chat with you about anything concerning London and a part of the trip. Now it´s time for a short walk down to Westminster Abbey, the church for coronations, Royal weddings and funerals, remind us to get you up to date about the buried elephant inside the church! We walk cross Parliament square while telling you some true stories and some less true stories about the gunpowder plot and why Big Ben has it´s characteristic sound. We get back on the saddles and follow our path along the Thames to the iconic Tower Bridge and a leg stretcher at the the Tower of London, a castle, a fortress, a prison and a even a zoo!! built by William the conqueror almost a thousand years ago. Now it´s about time to get back to where we came from but not without a stop at the monument of the great fire of London back in the year 1666 and Londons landmark number one, Sir Christopher Wrens masterpiece, St Pauls Cathedral. A lot of impressions to digest and a peaceful ride back through the Royal parks. Fresh air, a little bit of exercise and  a big bite  of London. Hope to see you on a tour / Ola and Lena
