Castle Farm Guest House

Guesthouse in Stamford

Situated 10 miles south of Stamford, this wisteria- and ivy-draped property was partly built using stone and timbers from the neighbouring castle where King Richard III was born and Mary, Queen of Scots was beheaded (all that remains of the castle today is an outcrop of rock). Its five guest rooms have an old-fashioned charm; family rooms sleep three people.

The grounds extend to the beautiful River Nene.
