Day trip around the Isle of Man

From Victorian Douglas we set off on the trail of the Victorians, following the route of the Manx Electric Railway towards Laxey, where we find the islands most unique visitor site, the Laxey Wheel followed by a visit to the woolen mills where weaving is done in a very unusual way.  After the mills we travel back in time to a Neolithic era, then forward to the first monastery on the island .  A quick trip through Royal Ramsey, and the up onto the TT course for a bit of the race track before heading west towards Peel, the sunset city.  After Peel we travel along the west coast and try to catch glimpses of the Mountain of Mourne in Ireland before heading south to Cregneish Village, famous for its part in the film Waking Ned 'Devine'.  The on to Castletown ancient capital of the island before returning to Douglas not forgetting to say hello to the fairies and back to the hotel for the evening.
