Dartmouth–Kingswear Lower Ferry The town's oldest ferry service, in business since the 1300s. It's a floating platform that's pulled by a tug moored alongside.

Plymouth Stagecoach bus 3 (£7.30, 2½ hours, hourly Monday to Saturday) travels via Kingsbridge. On Sunday there are only two buses that travel as far as Kingsbridge (£7, one hour).
Totnes Stagecoach bus X64 (£3.70, 50 minutes, every two hours Monday to Saturday, two Sunday) heads to Totnes and then continues to Exeter (£6.60, two hours).
The Dartmouth Steam Railway links Kingswear and Paignton. The nearest mainline connections are from Totnes.
