This visit gives you a 'hands on' unique experience of Blue John Stone, not available anywhere else. You will go prospecting in the Mining areas with your Host to find a piece of raw Blue John.(You may get muddy!) You take this into the workshop, where our Craftsmen will help you polish it. You will choose more pieces in the workshop to make a window hanger, and set some Blue John into a piece of silver jewellery for yourself. (You may need to choose the blank setting earlier on). Blue John Stone is the rare form of Fluorite found only in Treak Cliff Hill, and this is the only place in the world, where you will be allowed to explore in the mines and work with specialist Blue John craftsmen.
