Pipe and Glass Inn

Gastropub in Beverley

Set in a picturesque hamlet 4 miles northwest of Beverley, this charming Michelin-starred country pub has a delightfully informal setting, with weathered timber tables, stone hearths and leather sofas. Yet a great deal of care is lavished on the food – even seemingly simple dishes such as fish pie are unforgettable. After your meal, you can tour its herb gardens.

If you want to stay the night, there are five luxurious bedrooms to choose from (£200 to £245 per night, including breakfast), but the waiting list for a weekend night is several months long; weeknights can be booked about two months in advance.
