This tour happens every day at 11am sharp. You will be taken past London's house of Political power, and the most important seats in England. Not only will you see this, but you will see many of London's prestigious and historic landmarks - some of these places date back to over 1000 years ago.
You will be taken past the Palace of Westminster, which is a World Heritage site that has been in continuous use since the 11th Century. This is the centre of British Government, and Big Ben is one of the top tourist attractions in London. You will also pass 10 Downing street - the official office and home of the Prime Minister. It is also the headquarters to the Queen, where the Cabinet meet, as well as being the venue for visiting Heads of foreign Governments and state events. Westminster Abbey is also visited - this is one of the most important gothic buildings that this country has. As well as all this, you will be able to witness first hand the changing of the guards outside the entrance (with only the Monarch being able to enter these gates) of St. James's Palace. This will not only widen your knowledge of London's historic buildings and what has happened in them, as well as what happens currently. But this will help you realise that London isn't just a tourist attraction, but also a place that keeps Britain running smoothly.
