We leave Oxford and head north through “the Tews”, a group of delightful ironstone villages. See the quaint thatched cottages and pub in the village of Great Tew. Duration: 20 hoursStop At: Castle at Edgehill Bar, Banbury, Oxfordshire, EnglandWe stop at Radway Tower for refreshments. This quaint hotel overlooks the site of the English Civil War Battle of Edgehill. Duration: 20 minutesStop At: Shakespeare's Birthplace, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, EnglandWe drive past several stately homes, including the beautiful Elizabethan Charlecote Park, before arriving in Stratford-upon-Avon. Stop At: Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire, EnglandContinuing through the market town of Chipping Norton, we arrive in Woodstock the site of Blenheim Palace (birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill), where we make a brief photo stop by the palace before returning to Oxford.
