Red Sea Coast in detail

You're never far from simply cooked fresh fish along the Red Sea coast. More expensive places can serve some fine Mediterranean-style cuisine, and everywhere else the usual Egyptian staples of ta'amiyya (falafel), kushari (a mix of noodles, rice, black lentils, fried onions and tomato sauce) and kofta (grilled mincemeat) are always on offer. Almost all tourist places serve alcohol.
