Experience 22 different microclimates just in 5 days! Drive from temperate valleys to Tropical Rain Forests up to permanent glaciers and snow-capped volcanoes! Ecuador offers an impressive variation of landscapes, flora and fauna, as well as indigenous communities and local tribes... Make your dreamed holliday a complete life experience, escorted by the best professionals in every terrain!
Day 1: We start, after breakfast, at 08h00, towards the “Amazon basis”! We pass through Papallacta village, which gives us the opportunity to enjoy its hot springs that have incredible healing properties. We continue through the subtropical rainforests, located at the foothills of the Andes, and then we arrive to Baeza. Then you continue towards the “Macao’s viewpoint”, from that viewpoint you can appreciate a huge green carpet with exuberant Amazon`s vegetation! In the afternoon we will arrive to Liana Lodge where we will stay the overnight. Day 2: After breakfast, you will do a walk into the primary tropical rainforest! During your walk in the jungle, you'll enjoy the incredible landscape! We visit an animal rescue centre, then we do one of the most popular adventure sports, well-known as “tubbing”, in the Arajuno River! Visit to a Kichwa community to learn all about the daily life of this fascinating region! Back to the Lodge to have lunch. Free afternoon to relax and enjoy the lodge`s facilities and its wildlife! Day 3: Breakfast. Our next destination is Puyo, where we will learn all about the famous wooden carvings made out in balsa wood. Continuing with your trip you can’t miss the well-known and famous “Avenue of the waterfalls”, as “Pailón del Diablo”, where we will walk through narrow trails and hanging bridges, until we arrive to the 72 meters waterfall, that give us the opportunity to enjoy three waterfalls! Going back to the Andes, we stop to take a ride on the 500 meters long cable car, which give us the opportunity to admire another beautiful waterfall called “Manto de la Novia”! We drive through several tunnels until we arrive to the “Agoyán waterfall”. Finally we arrive to “Baños de Agua Santa”, and you`ll stay the overnight at Hotel Monteselva. Day 4: In this city, full of magic and adventure, you will have time to rest and relax in one of the different SPA that Baños offers; also you`ll have time for shopping; unless you decide to do walks through footpaths in secondary forests, or practice adventure sports, such as white water river rafting, canyoning, horseback riding, paragliding, biking, etc.  Day 5: We start our drive back to Quito. During our journey you will visit the “Salasaca`s Indigenous Market”, and Cotopaxi volcano (5.897 m.a.s.l.), which is a beautiful national park to admire the local flora, lagoons, wild horses and many other different ecosystems, in high altitude! Also you will enjoy the exotic fauna while you walk around “Limpiopungo lagoon” (3.800 m.a.s.l.)! Afterwards we drive up to the parking lot located at 4.500 m.a.s.l., then you`ll have the opportunity to do a hike up to 4.800 meters above sea level (16,000 feet), where the "Jose Rivas refuge" is located, very closed from the glaciers!! We drive back to Quito. end of this unique and unforgettable life experience!
