This Galapagos 3 days – 2 islands hopping tour is the perfect program if you would like to experience the highlights of the Galapagos Islands when you don’t have a lot of time. With the 3-day tour you will start at the island Santa Cruz, which is one of the main islands of the Galapagos. This island is actually a large dormant volcano, since the last eruptions occurred around 1,5 million years ago. On Santa Cruz you will visit Tortuga Bay or Charles Darwin Station. Furthermore, you will visit Santa Fe island, one of the oldest islands of the archipelago. On the last day you go to Rancho Primicias or the Twin Crates, depending on your departure time. Rancho Primicias is located on the top of the island Santa Cruz. Here you will visit the famous Lava Tunnels.
B = Breakfast includedL = Lunch includedD = Dinner includedDAY 1 (L, D):TRANSFER IN  – TWINS – HIGHLANDSYour tour will start at Baltra airport (GPS) where the guide will pick you up at the arrivals area of the airport and will take you to the highlands of Santa Cruz. First you make a stop at the Twin Craters. “Los Gemelos”, or the Twin Craters, are located opposite to each other. The name is only figurative; they are not real craters, since these formations were created by the collapse of surface due to the lava flow hundreds of years ago. You will have lunch in the highlands (if your arrival is before 2 PM). This includes a visit to the famous Lava tunnels. Rancho Primicias is located on the top of the island Santa Cruz. It provides important attractions due to the climate and vegetation. This is a humid tropical forest and offers varied landscape. Its major tourist attraction are the tortoises that migrate from the park to this property at certain times of the year. They go in search of shade, water or suitable places for incubating their eggs. Afterwards you will be brought to Puerto Ayora and in the night a delicious local dinner will be served.Accommodation in Silberstein or similar* It is highly recommended to book flights that arrive early in the morning.DAY 2 (B, L): SANTA FE ISLAND / TORTUGA BAY (OPTIONAL ACTIVITY)After breakfast, board a small speedboat for a day tour to visit Santa Fe island. After 1.5- 2 hours of navigating, you will snorkel around the island to observe the marine life. After that you will go back to Santa Cruz and visit Playa Escondida or Garrapatero and you will have a wet landing there. Enjoy lunch on board, and go back to Puerto Ayora. In the afternoon, you could visit Tortuga Bay by yourself (without a guide). It is a beautiful white sandy beach, with turquoise water and mangroves, which really gives you the feeling you have arrived in paradise. To walk to Tortuga Bay, you can take the 2.8 km path which will take you about an hour. Please consider Tortuga Bay is only opened until 5 PM.Accommodation in Silberstein or similar.DAY 3 (B): CHARLES DARWIN STATION – TRANSFER OUTIf you have a flight in the afternoon (leaving at 2 PM or later from Baltra airport) you will have time to do a morning activity and go to The Charles Darwin Research Station, where you will have a close encounter with the famous Galapagos tortoises and also you will learn all about the Islands and the Darwin Theory of Evolution of the Species. After this you will be brought with a Spanish speaking driver to Baltra Airport (GPS). The tour will end upon arrival to the airport.
