Today's newspaper carries a report that YF vaccination certificates will be checked for foreign travellers at border crossings
http://www.paginasiete.bo/sociedad/2017/2/13/salud-caso-fiebre-amarilla-origino-zona-selvatica-127139.html
This follows a case in the lowland area of northern La Paz. Spanish speakers may be struck, as I was, by the emphasis on a foreign traveller being affected and there being no local cases.
It might be prudent to assume that Bolivian border officials will be more…

Hi,
I'm arriving at Medellin's airport on Saturday at 9pm.
Does anybody know until what time there are buses from there to city centre ( bus stop near nutibara hotel)?
Otherwise, how much is taxi fare for the same route?
2. Question:
I'm looking for mail adress of Hotel Normandia. Do you know it?
Thanks
Simonetta

Otavalo

I read Saturday was the best day to visit the Otavalo Market but Wednesday is the day we have available for a day tour. Would it be worthwhile to visit the Otavalo Market on a Wednesday. Also can anyone recommend a tour company for such any excursions. Thanks, Glenn

The consular officer behind the glass wanted my passport, my yellow fever certificate, and 35 euros (up from the "30 Euros" still printed on their tourist cards).

In twenty minutes I received my tourist card and a receipt for 35…

Hello!

I plan to visit MP at the end of september, so i'm thinking on buying the MP+HP(Huayna Picchu) second group 10:00-11:00 am.

The question is what is my time limit at MP and HP? Like, am i allowed to stay in MP until 5:30 PM , with the 2nd group that bought tickets only for MP(12:00-5:30pm). Or i have to go in the MP with the first group that visits from 6:00 am to 12:00pm, and when the time is 10-11am, i go for the hike on HP? OR the 200 persons for HP have a different program? A little…

Hey there! I would like your advice on an itinerary that we are currently in the beginning phases of planning.
This will be for our 2.5-3 week honeymoon in January and we want to combine Colombia's Caribbean and Zona Cafetera + Panama. We are really interested in the following locations but having trouble piecing them together:

Cartagena, Ciudad Perdida, Tayrona National Park, Medellín, Salento, Panama City, San Blas and Bocas del Toro.

We don't mind if we have to take flights/bus to get to far…
