Napo is an Ecuadorian province located at the eastern side of the country. The province contains the majestic Napo River one of the main affluent of the “Amazonas”. Tena, its capital, is known as the “Cinnamon capital” of Ecuador, originally founded by missionary explorers and is located at 420m above sea level with a temperature between 25˚C and 32˚C (77˚F – 89˚F). The eco-lodge that is used for this program is located about 20 minutes away by private transportation from Tena city making it very easy to access and it is on the banks of the huge Napo river. The activities we will do these days are very diverse; from chocolate making to visiting local tribes, from hiking in the rainforest to navigating by canoe on the river. This with great meals 3 times a day from local ingredients and you stay and a very comfortable eco-lodge with swimming pool.
