Here you will have some time to visit the many shops located in this town. You can find great handmade leather products for a very affordable price. Day 3: Quito - Quilotoa - LassoStop At: Laguna Quilotoa, Cotopaxi ProvinceThe Laguna de Quilotoa is a water-filed Caldera and is known as Ecuador's most western volcano. Upon arrival we will visit the viewpoint for an incredible view of this 3 - kilometer wide greenish lake. This will also be the starting point for the hike towards the lake, which will take about 30 minutes. You can either hike back up, which will take about one hour approximately or rent a mule to help you. Day 8: Baños - Riobamba Stop At: Ruta de las cascadas, Banos, Tungurahua Province Today we will explore 'la Ruta de las Cascadas' better known as the waterfall route, which has many beautiful waterfalls to observe such as the Agoyan, Manto de la Novia and Pailon del Diablo.You can take fun cable car rides to get a more closed up view of the waterfalls. At Pialon del Diablo you will be making a 30 minute hike downhill. From one of the platforms you will have an incredible view of this 80 meters high waterfall. The hike back up will take about one hour approximately.
