Ecuadorian in Guayaquil

Not far from the Hilton Colon Guayaquil and Mall del Sol, Cocolon has a modern, fun interior with bright-red chairs and photos decorating the walls. Cocolon is well known for its Ecuadorian dishes: La ultima cena (grilled loin with rice, beans and all the fixings) is a classic. Adventurous palates should try guatita (a tripe and potato stew in a seasoned, peanut-based sauce).

Come for the decor; the service is a bit lacking.
