Practically a legend at this point, this ramshackle sea shack on Playa Cosón serves up some of Samana's best seafood. Dig your toes into the sand, shoot the breeze with the server over the daily catch (there's no menu), and sit back and wait for simplicity at its finest. French expats flock here at weekends for lobsters the size of Fiats.
But the fresh fish (filet or whole) is every bit as tasty. Seasoning ranging from salt, limes, oil and vinegar to house-made hot sauce in Gatorade bottles is all you'll see (or need) here. Buen provecho!
