Værftsvej Beach

Beach in Køge

Directly north of the marina is a decent strip of white sand made crunchy with lots of shell fragments. The remarkably clear water takes on a sparkling green-blue allure due to shallow sandbanks, but these mean a long stride out for swimming at low tide. At high tide there's a swim-jetty for easier access but no other facilities, bar a toilet.

From town, access is somewhat awkward on foot.
