Pizzeria Mother ditches gingham tablecloths for concrete floors, industrial tiles and an X-factor Kødbyen (Meatpacking District) address. While we love the high-quality regional Italian toppings – think fresh Campanian buffalo-milk mozzarella and soft salami from Le Marche – the organic, sourdough bases too often miss the mark, being either too doughy or too charred.
That said, the place is never short of a cool Vesterbro crowd. If there's a wait for a table (likely), pull up a log at Mother's adjoining bar and down an Aperol Spritz.
