A reformed workingmen's bar, neighbourly Fischer serves Italian-inspired soul food like freshly made linguini with bottarga, lemon and mint, or fresh mullet with black cabbage, celery purée and mussels. That it's all seriously good isn't surprising considering that owner and head chef David Fischer worked the kitchen at Rome's Michelin-starred La Pergola. On weekends, brunch is served from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
