Billund Airport sits almost right outside Legoland’s gate, serving not only Legoland but most of Jutland. Because of its central location, it has grown into Denmark’s second-busiest airport.
There’s a comprehensive schedule of direct flights from Billund to various Scandinavian and European cities, provided by SAS (www.flysas.com) and British Airways (www.britishairways.com). Ryanair (www.ryanair.com) connects Billund with London (Stansted), Berlin, Milan/Bergamo, Barcelona and more. Air France (www.airfrance.com) connects Billund with Paris.
A bus service (route 912X) connects Aarhus with Billund Airport (160kr, 1½ hours). Other buses connect the airport with major Jutland towns.

Billund is on Rtes 28 and 30, 59km northeast of Esbjerg, 28km west of Vejle and 41km northwest of Kolding.
International car-rental agencies have offices at the airport.
Unfortunately there’s no train service to Billund. A rail connection is talked about, but no concrete plans are in place.
If you're travelling by train, the most common route is to disembark at either Vejle or Kolding and catch a bus from there.
