Brdy is former military zone and large natural reservation. Part of it was opened to public in 1990, the rest was opened only recently. For more than 70 years this area was strictly closed to public and used for military training only. So the whole area is except some roads completely untouched by civilization. There are no tourist trails, no mobile phone signal, no restaurants and usually not many people at all.You must understand this area was completely closed to public and not many people know how to navigate themselves there. The area is however not dangerous at all. Just untouched. You will be provided with e-bike which means you don't need to be specially fit for the tour. There is a 50 km long trail you will be taken on by our guide. You will see nature in its purest form which not even many Czechs know. This tour is for private groups from 1 to 3 persons only. We start in Prague, drive by car 70 km to the south-west, and after the tour we drive back to Prague.

Part of this tour is visit of Little Fortress - a prison for Czech political prisoners in the Second World War. Then the Terezin ghetto museum showing history of Czech Jews during the War. And then the so called Magdeburg Barracks. We will spend approximately 4 hours in the area. There will be time for lunch after the Terezin visit and then we will move to Lidice. Once a village of 500 inhabitants. After the assasination of Heydrich in 1942, Germans took revenge on this village. They destroyed all houses, murdered all men, 60 women a 88 children. A children memorial in the area is one of the most touching place on earth. Village was never rebuilt and it is open air museum now.
