Pafos is a major tourism destination with no shortage of places to eat, although there is a predictable glut of overpriced tourist-driven restaurants, where you can expect bland international cuisine and that musical microwave 'ping'. The flip side are the tavernas in the mountain villages of the Akamas Heights, where traditional cuisine reigns supreme and rarely disappoints. For the freshest seafood head to Latsi harbour (near Polis) or Pomos.
