This excellent visitor centre includes a small museum (admission €1) with displays about the region’s flora, fauna, geology and wildlife. A 10-minute video details the park’s history, and a 250m botanical and geological trail surrounding the centre offers an easy introduction to the area’s attractions. Maps, brochures and published information about the region, including hiking trails and vegetation, are available.
A geographic display in the foyer outlines the park’s boundaries, mountains and environs. The visitor centre is clearly signposted just before Troödos Square, approaching from the south.
