Welcome to the wild, wild west. Curaçao's West End – also called Banda'bou – is where you'll find the island's most stunning beaches, most striking natural landscapes and most spectacular sea life. Here, two national parks give access to the rugged windward coast, allowing adventurers to witness the ferocity and artistry of the surf on the rocky cliffs.
On the more sedate west coast, the same cliffs are punctuated by fishing villages and sandy beaches, providing easy entries into tranquil turquoise waters. Dive and snorkel sites are almost too numerous to count – and most are accessible from the shore. So don your mask and fins and prepare to frolic with sea turtles and reef fish. The underwater world is even more enticing than the top side!
