Paladar Doña Carmela

Cuban in Regla, Guanabacoa & the Forts

On the eastern side of the harbor in the small community near the forts, this private eating option gets filled up with tourists on their way to the nightly cañonazo ceremony. The food is good but pricey, propped up by dishes such as octopus sautéed in garlic and whole roast pork cooked in a wood oven.

Tables are arranged around a salubrious garden decorated with reclining gnomes and large earthenware pots.
