Zagreb in

Two Days

Begin your day in the city's heart, Trg Bana Jelačića then wander through Dolac Market during the morning buying bustle before heading to the Zagreb 360° Observation Deck to take in the lay of the land.

Afterwards, funicular it up to Strossmayerovo for Upper Town strolls, visiting the Croatian Museum of Naïve Art and the Museum of Broken Relationships while there. Have a late lunch at Duck Fast Bistro – to see that fresh Dolac Market produce put to good use – then spend the rest of the afternoon exploring Zagreb's fascinating architecture of the dead at Mirogoj.

After a dinner at Mali Bar spend the rest of your evening either bar-hopping along Tkalčićeva or doing some after-dark sightseeing on a night tour with Secret Zagreb.

On day two experience the city's other side with Blue Bike Tours on a morning cycle around Novi Zagreb. Get to grips with Croatia's finest produce with lunch at Heritage then spend the rest of the day filling up on the Lower Town's architecture between hitting the Museum Mimara and the Croatian State Archives.

In the evening treat yourself at one of the city's top tables at either Zinfandel's or Bistro Apetit. Round off the day with some local craft beer action along Opatovina.
