Tour description

Join sailing trips organized by passionate skippers. We are a group of dedicated skippers who love to build a sailing community and whose work is to organize several sailing trips a year. We treat participants of our trips as friends, not clients. This combined sailing and yoga holiday allows you to practice the yoga moves you have practiced to perfection in the classroom, with the beautiful Croatian coastline as the backdrop! With our certified yoga instructor, Paula, you will be in safe hands! We offer this trip to be joined by interesting people from all over the world who are fun to spend time with and enjoy adventures.  A bit of a backpacker spirit is a good thing to have!If you feel like meeting new people, learning new skills and enjoying authentic experiences, come join us exploring! No previous sailing experience is necessary to join!

The Yoga and Sailing Retreat combines the activity of sailing and the peacefulness of Yoga practice. We will have two Yoga sessions per day, one in the morning and one in the evening. In between these Yoga sessions we will sail from one port to another. The crew will be included in planning of each day in order to give you possibility to shape the experience you wish to have.Day 1: SUKOSAN MARINA, near ZADARThe starting point for our Yoga and Sailing holiday lies 11km from Zadar international airport. It is a sleepy little town and that is exactly what we are looking for! In the evening, we meet together for a welcome drink and then dine together at a local restaurant to get to know each other!Day 2: PREKOSailing across the straights from Zadar, we find the small community of Preko, populated by people who want to escape the hustle of western life. Perfect for nature lovers, as there are plenty of beaches for a swim, and feeling energetic, we hike to the summit, we find the well-preserved ruins of a castle with a 360 degree view of the region. Simply breath-taking!Day 3: SAKARUNSakarun beach is said to be one of Croatia’s best beaches. Certainly, soft sands, azure blue waters and surrounding pine forests make it a perfect spot for yoga practise! There are no settlements close by so we can fully enjoy its majesty.Day 4: VELI IZThe small town of Veli Iz is known for its pottery. The inlet is densely forested, with small hills overlooking the town. The walk encircling Veli Iz is incredibly peasant for both body and spirit!DAY 5: TELASCICA NATIONAL PARKSurrounded by pine trees, we enter the magical Telašćica park. There is plenty of buoys to moor to and some beautiful cliffs to explore. There is one or two remotely located restaurants where we can enjoy a delightful meal after our yoga session in the evening. This could be a signature place of Yoga Sailing Retreat!DAY 6: KORNATI NATIONAL PARKI always think of Kornats as of moon islands combed by a giant. Characteristic layers of stone create a regular patterns which is a background for an arid environment and some occasional settlement or a single restaurant. We anchor at a lonely bay and create a yacht raft once more. A hike to the nearby hill pays off with an unforgettable sunset view and a dive at night reveals a spectacle of nature: glowing plankton. We can count on the Milky Way being visible at night!DAY 7: VRGADA:One of the few sandy beaches of Croatia. A truly film-like location with its reddish sand, the cliffs, the tiny islet and a few yachts anchored nearby.
