This amazing trip takes us along the beautiful coast through the famous summer resorts along the Makarska Riviera to see Mostar, ‘the window to the Orient’, and an important trade centre during the Ottoman rule. Mostar is a cultural and religious jewel of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a place where we will stroll down the streets of the old town and admire its beauty. Mostar's Old Bridge (single arch stone bridge), Tabačica Mosque and the colorful Bazaar are one of the highlights of this trip.
Join us on a magnificent trip to Mostar, a city known as ‘the window to the Orient’, and that was an important trade centre during the Ottoman rule. An experienced guide will take us around the oriental part of the town, with the Old Bazaar full of lively shops and workshops. We will also visit the mosque and a typical Turkish house and walk across the legendary single span Ottoman Bridge from the 16th century that the city was named after.There will be free time for lunch and coffee in one of the numerous old restaurants and cafes along the river. We leave Mostar in the late afternoon.
