Leska Path

Hiking in Risnjak National Park

The starting point for the Leska Path, an easy and shady 4.2km trail, is at the Park Information Office. The route is punctuated by several dozen explanatory panels (with English translations) telling you all about the park’s history, topography, geology, flora and fauna. Allow around two hours to complete the route.

You’ll pass crystal-clear streams, forests of tall fir trees, bizarre rock formations, a feeding station for the deer and a mountain hut with a picnic table.
