Tour description provided by Viator

Small group wine tasting tour with dinner from Split, Croatia on which you will have a chance to try 4 indigenous wine sorts and enjoy a walk to the nearby Biblical Garden followed by a dinner in the ecological wine cellar. Our winery is located on the slopes of mountain Kozjak in an old stone house surrounded by vineyards. Transport is organized year round from Split center Mondays-Tuesdays-Wednesdays-Thursdays-Fridays (weekends on request).
Croatia is not just one of the oldest wine regions on the planet, it’s also one of the most diverse. We have more than 150 indigenous grape sorts and Kastela region near Split has 11. According to the old Church documents family Kuzmanic started producing wines 300 years ago, especially ancient Dalmatian sorts Glavinusa, Babica and Tribljan (ONE NOT AVAILABLE ELSEWHERE). Their cellar located on the slopes of mountain Kozjak is a 120 years old stone house offering fantastic views of the nearby islands. It was also used during a construction of the local railway as a gun powder magazine. We’ll have time to try all their award winning sorts, take a stroll to the nearby Biblical Garden and enjoy grill dinner with Kuzmanic family in the wine cellar garnished with vegetables from their eco-estate.
