Kayak around Split’s Marjan peninsula, the Dalmatia region’s dazzler, on a 4-hour sea-kayaking tour! Following the lead of an expert local guide, paddle at a leisurely pace and take in the wild side of Split, discovering secluded coves and unspoiled bays. Upgrade to an 8-hour tour and kayak from Hvar Island to the Pakleni archipelago. Both tours are suitable for beginners.
4 - Hour Tour: Meet your guide in central Split and travel to Bene Beach at the foot of Marjan Hill. Put your life jacket on, listen to a comprehensive safety briefing and then paddle away from shore in your single kayak.Keeping close to the sun-kissed shoreline, paddle around the peninsula and see the scenery change from secluded bays framed by pine forests to sweeping pebble beaches. Enjoy a stop on one of Split’s many beaches to soak up the sun and either swim or snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the Adriatic – equipment is provided! Besides taking in the gorgeous landscape, hear tips to improve your paddling technique and get the most out of your time on the water. After exploring the peninsula, stop at Bene Beach and finish your experience with a drop-off at the start point.8 - Hour Tour:Hop aboard your ferry or catamaran at Split Port and cruise across the waters to the town of Hvar – roughly 75 min away. Then, step inside your sea kayak and paddle around the enchanting Pakleni islands, a stunning archipelago that boasts more than 20 uninhabited islets. We cover part of the archipelago which is closer to Hvar town, passing by the islands of Jerolim and Marinkovic. If the weather permits we would sea kayak outside of the channel to the south side of the islands, experiencing the open sea and unlimited views over the horizon. In case of south winds, we would need to stay within the channel exploring the north side of the islands, protected from the winds. There is time to swim, snorkel, chill, get a coffee or refreshing drink at the beach bar. Kayak slowly back to Hvar in the early afternoon.
Depending on the available return options for the day, you might get an opportunity to enjoy the remaining afternoon exploring this beautiful little gem on your own, before returning with the evening ferry back to Split.
