A walk through Mostar is actually a walk through time. In this town, the traces of the past are visible at every step.Visit a place where east meets the west, where different cultures are intertwined in a beautiful way.
Mostar, the town that lies on the river Neretva, is the economic, cultural, university, transport and tourist center of Herzegovina. The town was built around the old bridge, dating from 1566, near the former suspension bridge. The bridge is the main symbol of Mostar, one could say – its beating heart for centuries. The Mostar bridge is under the protection of UNESCO and represents the link between past and present, connecting different worlds in different times in the history. Nowadays, in June and July, the competition in jumping is held on the bridge, where the bravest can show their courage by diving off the bridge. Apart from the bridge, there is a Kriva Ćuprija (Crooked Bridge), the towers Tara and Halebija from the 17th century, the Sahat tower and the recent attraction from 2005 – a statue of Bruce Lee.You'll also visit a ancient village called Počitelj, built in a natural karst amphiteatre along the Neretva river. This is the usual itinerary, but we are flexible to meet any demands:The boarding of passengers on the pre-scheduled locations is foreseen from 07:30 to 08:00.
