Tour description provided by Viator

This is the most expensive and the most popular tour in town. Why? Because you will visit the best destinations in the Croatian islands, all in the same day!
If you are short on time and would like to visit the dazzling jewels of Central Dalmatia then the Blue Cave excursion from Split may be just what you’re looking for. This full day tour is action packed and will have you zipping to some of Croatia’s best islands by rib boat, exploring the best natural treasures in the region, swimming in remarkable locations and visiting the island of Hvar, Croatia most famous island. Your day will commence in Split where you will board our slick speedboat, the fastest way to get to the island of Bisevo, which also happens to be extremely safe and suitable for everyone. Then it’s a 1.5-hour ride to the bay of Balun where the Blue Cave is located. Known locally as Modra Špilja, the cave was formed by the action of the waves eroding the limestone forming the cave. In the morning, as the sunlight penetrates the cave, the sunbeams strike the white limestone cave floor through the sea and it reflects spectacular shades of blue throughout the cave. The Blue Cave really is an enchanting place and something you will never forget. After the Blue Cave, we will visit shortly the Monk Seal Cave, then we head to the award-winning Stiniva Beach. This secluded sandy beach is only accessible by hiking a steep narrow winding track or by boat. Surrounded by limestone cliffs and an entrance to the sea only 16ft wide, Stiniva beach is impressive.  Following Stiniva we make our way to the Rukavac bay where we will take a well-earned swim stop. The next leg of our journey is to Palmizana, which is part of the Pakleni Islands. Here you will get free time to explore this beautiful little island, swim in its striking sandy bay and grab lunch or perhaps a cocktail at a beachside bar. From Palmizana we make our way to the final destination of the day, Hvar. Our speed boat will drop you in the heart of this charming town, which has been attracting the rich and famous for decades – and it’s easy to see why. With renaissance architecture, chic restaurants, a rich history and the best climate in the Adriatic, Hvar has long been one of Croatia’s premier tourist destinations. Here you will have a couple hours to explore the wonders of Hvar for yourself. Once our time in Hvar is up, it’s time to board the speed boat and make our way back to Split. The Blue Cave excursion from Split is one of the most thrilling available trips in Croatia.Itinerary:07:45 Meeting in front of the bronze map of Split 08:00 – 09:45 Setting off to the Blue Cave tour09:45 – 11:00 Discovering the Blue cave 11:15 – 12:00 Sightseeing of Monk seal cave and swimming at Stiniva Bay12:15 – 12:45 Rukavac – swimming time13:30 – 15:00 Swimming on Pakleni islands and lunch (optional)15:15 – 17:00 Free time to explore Hvar island17:15 – 18:30 Departure from Hvar to Split
