Overnight stays, in basic cabins or – even more rewarding – homestays, are an excellent way to immerse yourself in the indigenous cultures of the Reserva Biológica Dúrika and Reserva Indígena Boruca. The accommodations in the transportation hubs of Neily and Palmar are not overly exciting, and staying in the border town of Paso Canoas is not recommended. San Vito, on the other hand, has a couple of exceptional guesthouses.
