This legendary Dutch-run outpost is literally the end of the road in Punta Banco, and it's where surfers gather to socialize in the evenings. Rooms are cooled with fans, and hammocks are interspersed around the property, which has convivial common areas, a restaurant and a trail to a romantic jungle lookout. Meals are family-style; guests aren't allowed to cook.
Clientele mainly includes surfers, but those interested in relaxation, wildlife and yoga will also land well here, as there's a newly constructed yoga deck and lots of rare birds flitting around. The owners are also involved in a community turtle conservation project.
