There's a wide spread of places to lay your head in Jacó, from concrete-block dives to spendy upscale resorts, in some areas all scattered over just a few blocks.

The center of town, with its many bars and discos, means that noise may be a factor. The far northern and southern ends of town have more relaxed and quieter accommodations.

Reservations & Rates

Reservations are highly recommended on weekends in the dry season and become critical during Easter, the week between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, and during the mid-March Jungle Jam music festival.

Low-season rates are as much as 30% to 40% lower than high-season rates. If you plan on a lengthy stay (more than five days), ask about long-term rates.
