Set at the head of a steep, forested valley and straddling a cold creek, these thermal pools are only 18km east of Santa Rosa de Cabal but feel a world away. It's a long drive up from Pereira or Santa Rosa but it's well worth the trip: it's hard to imagine a more relaxing setting. Besides soaking in the hot springs, visitors can abseil down a waterfall and go trekking and ziplining.
The baths are operated from the Termales San Vicente Office in Pereira, where you can make inquiries. A day package for visitors (adult/child aged three to 10 years COP$80,000/55,000) runs on Fridays and weekends (or daily on demand) and includes round-trip transportation from Pereira, admission, lunch and a refreshment. The bus leaves from the office at 9am and returns at 6:30pm.
