Top choice seafood in Providencia

Providencia's most popular restaurant is run by a Canadian–Raizal couple and the food is generally delightful, both memorable and reasonably priced given where you are. It gets fearsomely crowded come evening – not least with mosquitoes, making repellent a must – so get here in good time to secure a table, or try visiting at lunch to avoid the rush.

Highlights include the lobster tails in garlic sauce, the fish balls Creole, and Wellington's conch, which is cooked in a house-made Creole sauce made with wild basil from the garden. Save room for the excellent cappuccino pie.
