Zipaquirá is dominated by asaderos barbecuing various carne and fish such as mojarra (sea bream). There is little more than a snack cafe and a few outdoor stalls at Laguna de Guatavita, which is far more isolated (the nearby towns of Guatavita and Sesquilé offer simple restaurants). In Suesca, you can find Thai and Italian in addition to the usual Colombian staples.
