Getting There & Away
Around a dozen buses (COP$22,000 to COP$26,000, three hours) head daily to Jardín from Medellín's southern bus terminal. In Jardín the buses depart from the offices on Calle 8, where both Rapido Ochoa and Transportes Suroeste Antioqueño operate. Seats sell out during peak periods, so make sure to purchase your round-trip ticket in advance.
If you are continuing south to the Eje Cafetero (Coffee Axis) in the Zona Cafetera, Cotransrio has a direct service from Jardín to Manizales (COP$42,000, six hours) at 6:30am. Alternatively, take the bus to Ríosucio (COP$20,000, three hours) at 8am or 3pm (noon on Saturdays) and pick up a connection to Manizales there.
