Colombia is a wired country. Internet is everywhere and cheap – rarely more than COP$2500 per hour.
In smaller towns and more remote destinations, the government's ambitious and heralded Plan Vive Digital has brought free wi-fi to almost everywhere. You can usually stop by the local library, park or cultural center to get online.
Almost all hostels and hotels offer wi-fi. Shopping centers often have free wi-fi and so do most restaurants and cafes. Major airports offer wi-fi although it's usually very poor.
