Quinua y Amaranto

Vegetarian in Bogotá

Image by Jacqui de Klerk Lonely Planet

This sweet spot – run by women in an open-front kitchen – offers tasty set lunches, as well as empanadas, salads and coffee. Fare is all vegetarian during the week, but there's often ajiaco (chicken, corn and potato soup) on weekends. A small selection of coca leaves, baked goods and tempting chunks of artisanal cheese (on Saturday) rounds out the cozy offerings.
