Located in the municipality of Ricaurte. La Planada is part of the denominated " chocó biografico" or biographic choco" which constitute one of the rainiest region of the world, reaching a rainfall level of 4.800 millimeters of rain per year. This is a unique reserve, protected to ensure life and diversity, made up of many different species of animals, plants and 243 species of birds, this is home to the only bear in Latin America, the Andean bear, best known as de "Oso de Anteojos" due to its particular face which makes one think it has glasses.

This is a unique reserve, protected to ensure life and diversity, made up of many different species of animals, plants and 243 species of birds, this is home to the only bear in Latin America, the Andean bear, best known as de "Oso de Anteojos" due to its particular face which makes one think it has glasses.The journey starts at the depart point at 7:45 a.m, approximately one hour later at 9:00 a.m. you arrive to the reserve, over there there is snacks and drinks to cool off, at 10:00 a.m. the visit starts by going to watch the bears and taking an ecologic walking, at 12:00 m. it is time to take lunch and keep with the ecologic walking until 5:00 p.m. when you take snacks and drinks again until 6:00 p.m., after this break, it is time to leave and arrive to the depart point around 7:00 p.m.
