Tour description provided by Viator

This 9-hour private tour will take you to the prince of Tulou-Zhencheng Earth Building. You will see the different shapes of the magnificent earth buildings in just one place. Having a local lunch together with the Hakka families while sitting inside the earth buildings will help you to better understand the local inhabitants' life and the history of Hakka Earth Buildings.
After breakfasts, your private guide will pick you up at your hotel lobby. Sit back and relax in a well maintained, air conditioned non smoking private vehicle for a 3-hour drive. You will learn from your knowledgeable Tulou travel guide about the history of the Tulou (Prince of Tulou-Hongkeng Earth Building Cluster), the local life of the Hakka people, some basic facts of the earth buildings you will visit and other things you should know for this tour. Arrive at the tourist center, you will first go to the Zhengcheng Building, which is featured as “the prince of the earth buildings” at the World Architecture Model Exhibition held in Los Angeles in April 1986. Later you will visit the "Rice Liter" like earth building-the Rusheng Building, which is the smallest circular building. At noon, you will go to a local Hakka family to have a traditional Chinese lunch. Enjoy the local Hakka food and their special home made rice wine! Later after lunch, you will continue to visit the Fuyu Building -one of the few sumptuous earth buildings, then the  Kuiju Building, inside of which there are still over 100 people living there. At last part of the tour, you will experience the amazing "whispering wall" at the center point of the  Huanji Building. If you pedal hard or speak loudly, you can hear the echo very clearly, just like the "whispering wall" in Temple of Heaven in Beijing.  After the tour,  you will have a good rest on the comfortable vehicle during the 3-hour drive back to Xiamen. You will be transferred back to your hotel, airport, train station or any other places in downtown Xiamen like a restaurant or a bar if you like.
