Itinerary

Day 1 Beijing Arrive at any time. Additional Notes: On arrival please check the notice board in the hotel entrance for details of the time and place of the welcome meeting. Included Activities: Arrival Day and Welcome Meeting
Day 2 Beijing Set out early for a visit to the Great Wall at Mutianyu. Spend the day wandering from tower to tower along this magnificent feat of construction. Opt to see a Shaolin Monk Kung Fu Show, the Beijing Opera, or the Beijing Acrobats. Included Activities: Great Wall Mutianyu Visit
Day 3 Beijing Free time to explore Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, or the Temple of Heaven. Additional Notes: Please note: if you have pre-booked the China Cultural Bundle your CEO will inform you when you will see each show throughout your tour: Shaolin Kung Fu Show (Beijing), Acrobat Performance (Shanghai), and the Li River Light Show (Yangshuo). Day 4 Beijing/Xi'an Explore Beijing by day and board an overnight train by night. Additional Notes: Train is our main mode of transport in China and it's a great way to travel. Transport: Basic overnight train (beds) (12.00-15.00 hours)
Day 5 Xi'an Get to know Xi'an on an orientation walk, then enjoy free time. Included Activities: Muslim Quarter Orientation Walk
Day 6 Xi'an Opt to visit one of China’s greatest archaeological treasures—the Terracotta Warriors—or cycle the ancient city walls.
Day 7 Xi'an/Shanghai Enjoy free time to explore Xi'an, then take an overnight train to Shanghai. Transport: Basic overnight train (beds) (12.00 hour(s))
Days 8-9 Shanghai Shop till you drop in China's hippest stores! Included Activities: Orientation Walk
Day 10 Shanghai/Guilin Take an overnight train to Guilin and transfer to the Longji Terraces area. Transport: Basic overnight train (beds) (19.50 hour(s))
Day 11 Guilin/Longji Settle into the hotel and freshen up after the long transfer. Transport: Local bus (7.50-9.00 hours)
Day 12 Longji (1B) Enjoy an included half-day trek along the hills and terraces to Dazai. Included Activities: Longji Terraces Half Day Trek
Day 13 Longji/Yangshuo (1B) Opt to cycle through the countryside of Yangshuo, experience a local cooking school, practice tai chi, or see the light and sound show on the river produced by Zhang Yimou. Transport: Local bus (2.00 hour(s)) Local bus (1.50 hour(s))
Days 14-15 Yangshuo Free time in Yangshuo.
Day 16 Yangshuo/Shenzhen Train Station Travel to Guilin, then board a fast train to Shenzhen. Transport: Local bus (1.00-1.50 hours, 75km) Local train (3.50 hour(s))
