In this 2-day Qufu and Tai’an private tour, you will get a better understanding of Confucian culture through visiting the San Kong - Kong Family Mansion, Cemetery of Confucius and Temple of Confucius, listed as one of UNESCO World Heritage sites. Besides, you could have a glance at the most sacred mountain of China - Mountain Tai in the city of Tai'an.
Day 1 San Kong, Qufu - Tai'anAt around 8:30 am in the morning, your private English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby in Qufu. If you are not in Qufu before starting the tour, please appoint a pickup from railway station before the departure date with your guide (contact details will be sent to you after booking).You will first drive to visit San Kong, namely the Kong Family Mansion, Temple of Confucius, and the Cemetery of Confucius. They are symbolic of Chinese people holding Confucianism in esteem and commemorating Confucius, renowned for rich culture, long history, magnificent scale, prodigious relics and scientific and artistic value. In the afternoon, be driven to Tai'an (about 1.5 hours) for overnight.Accommodation in Tai'an: booked by yourselfDay 2 Tai'an, Mount TaiAround 8:30 am, be picked by your guide and driver from your hotel and head for the holy Mount Tai as well as Dai Temple, Puzhao Temple, and Bixia Temple. Mount Tai, or Taishan, is China's most sacred mountain. For centuries, emperors climbed it to pay homage to heaven and earth. You can take the cable car up to the top of the mountain and enjoy a great panoramic view of the surrounding area. After the visit, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Tai'an or Tai'an railway station. Service ends.
