Eating

Savoury crepes, potato patties, barbecues, tofu grills, noodles, hotpot, shuǐjiǎo (boiled dumplings) and wonton soup overflow at reasonable prices at Kǎilǐ’s street stalls. Look for guōtiēdiàn (锅贴店; dumpling snack restaurants) selling guōtiē (锅贴; fried dumplings) and Shànghǎi-style xiǎolóngbāo; there are several on Wenhua Beilu. Also head to the night market, packed with locals and open till the wee hours.
