Jianshui is legendary for its qìguō (汽锅), a stew often infused with medicinal herbs and served in earthenware pots. Expect to pay ¥40 to ¥50 per pot. Jianshui is also well-known for barbecue (烧烤, shāokǎo) and you’ll find many cubbyhole restaurants grilling away, particularly along Hanlin Jie.
