Department Store in Wan Chai & Northeast Hong Kong Island

The range is mind-boggling at this Japanese-owned department store, with 17 floors of high-end fashion and accessories, cosmetics, homewares and much more. Prices drop dramatically during the sales (check the website) and the store becomes a madhouse.

A highlight is the basement supermarket and food hall hawking all manner of Japanese treats such as onigiri (fish-stuffed rice balls), fried-octopus pancakes, almost-too-pretty-to-eat mochi (sweet glutinous rice cakes) and oceans of sake.
