Hong Kong’s most authentic Northern Chinese–style roast lamb is served at this long-standing locals' favourite. Better known is the perfectly bronzed Peking duck, carved thick and served with traditional shāobǐng bread as well as the more usual steamed pancakes. Service can sometimes be as welcoming as a Beijing winter, c 1967. Booking is essential.
